Producer Barbara Broccoli said that he “really gets under Bond’s skin” and is a “nasty piece of work”, while, in Malek’s words, he considers himself “as a hero almost in the same way that Bond is a hero”. Who is Safin? Safin is the main antagonist of the new film and has been described as a terrorist leader on a revenge mission.
